JO1 is a japanese-pop (or, jpop) boy band. They were formed off the reality talent show PRODUCE 101 JAPAN, in which 101 boys train and compete to ultimately debut in a band formed of the highest ranking trainees. Specifically, the top 11 boys were voted to be in an original band.
The group JO1 was co-produced by Yoshimoto Kogyo and CJ E&M.
The groupโs managing company is Lapone Entertainment, a brand new created by the co-producers to represent JO1
